Corporation rarely have our best interest at heart. Making people sick is good for business. Bad nutrition cause disease and disease is big money. "Disease care" often referred to as health care is 20% of our GDP and by 2020 is will be 25%.

Obesity is merely a symptom of a much bigger and complex problem.

We are not going the change the corporate control of this country. All we can do is change how we eat. Sadly when companies offer healthier food most Americans reject it. With a lot of help from the food corporation Americans are poisoning themselves with too many calories and deadly food additives.

We are a society of gluttons and because I have been saying that Google placed a warning on my Bigger Fatter Blog. Companies are in business to make money so they go after the sources from which they can most easily extract the most money and then groom those sources. Kids are the easiest to exploit. Get them fat and they eat more. Get them conditioned to certain foods and when they get older they will drool like Pavlov's dogs for their kibble.

People can reform their eating habits -- they simply choose not to do so.

As to corporations and businesses in general ethics will get in the way of profits almost every time. What do you think would happen if McDonalds only sold healthy food? Subway even had to add junk food to their menu in order to compete.

We can't legislate ethics, morality or intelligence. All we can do is educate. We need a whole lot more MeMe Roths, Jamie Olivers and Michael Karolchyks telling the unpopular truth.

What pisses me off is that the Fat Acceptance wackos have tried to portray you MeMe as a polarizing figure because attacking the messenger is often more effective than dealing with the message. I think it's high time that you take off the gloves when dealing with them and break down exactly how much they are eating based on their weight and then ask them what is more important to them, their kids or their favorite junk food.

Sorry if this went of on a tangent but I had a lot to say.

Keep talking sense because you are making a difference and thank you for what you are doing.

MeMe, if they offered you a TV show would you do it?

I think a documentary about you would be great but your own show would be better.
